Behind the Scenes
Personal photo sessions for my friends or people I already know are my favorite. By knowing each other we have already built that trust and understanding so taking photos for them is not a job - it's just another way for us to communicate.
Emma and I collaborate from time to time on various photo projects in Ho Chi Minh City. She is a young yet very talented local fashion stylist who ensured high results for various collabs which we got published in magazines. Some of our recent mutual collabs are "East meets West", "Active Orange", and, of course, "Spring Flamboyance: the colors of Tet!".
We also worked as a team together on some personal photo shoots where she created a mood board, styled the concept, and help to mix & match looks for my clients. If you are looking for a fashion stylist in Saigon - do not hesitate to contact Emma. Happy to share her Instagram profile.
Working on her portrait session was super easy because she, as usual, and professionally, briefed me on the concept we are shooting as well as prepared mood references and poses. As a photographer, all I needed to do was operate the camera shutter! Finally, the room entered creativity so we played with natural light and crystal reflection. And who said, that fashion is about clothing? :)
She's a perfect model and I am happy to share some of the results of her photo shoot session below. .
